Through our long-standing relationships with project owners and tacit understanding of the processes within Project Development and UNFCCC carbon credit accreditation, we are able to source rights to primary emission credits, smoothly and swiftly broker transactions and process the contracts through to conclusion.
We achieve this through a network of exclusive Carbon 350 agents throughout the developing world working in conjunction with our London based operatives. Currently, we are represented directly in Argentina, Chile, China, India, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore and Ukraine, though of course our geographic reach extends to neighboring countries and our network is continuously developing.
As a consequence, Carbon 350 is ideally positioned to assist CER/ERU buyers in accessing the highest quality of carbon assets from around the world.
Our business is focused on the “Sell Side” of transactions and while we service a network of buyers from project developers to banks, hedge funds, credit retirees (heavy industry) and government agencies; often we clear our sell side contracts via other brokers and intermediaries. Our commitment to the sell side extends to our commission policy. Whereas most brokers will charge on a “cent per ton” basis, we charge a “percentage commission”. Through this simple gesture, Project Owners can be sure that their objectives are aligned with our own. This has contributed significantly to our ease of originating high quality credits.
Thus, whether projects are at Pin Stage, PDD, Vcalidation, Registration, Verification or the credits are already issued, Carbon 350 can provide sellers with a range of options, explore negotiations with applicable parties, and assist in the successful conclusion of agreements.
We have knowledge and experience of the following project types and their methodologies; Aforestation and reforestation, Agriculture, Biogas, Biomass energy, Cement, Coal Bed/Mine Methane, Energy distribution, Energy efficiency – Households, Energy efficiency – Industry, Energy efficiency – Own Generation, Energy efficiency – Service, Energy efficiency – Supply side, Fossil Fuel Switch, Fugitive, Geothermal, HFCs, Hydro power, Landfill gas, N20, PFCs, Solar power, Tidal power, Transport and Wind Power.
